Disgusting. Can't even put benches, sunshade, and proper signs for bus stops in the sunniest place on earth.

I am writing regarding our reservation of Ramada 34 at Castle Park on December 6th from 1β6 PM. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had planned and expected after booking several months in advance. The ramada was overwhelmed with bees throughout the entire event. The situation was so severe that it disrupted our celebration and created a constant safety concern. One of our guests β a four-year-old child β was stung. Thankfully, she was not allergic, but the incident was distressing for everyone and could have been far more serious. In addition, the womenβs restroom was not functioning properly. Multiple stalls were clogged, leaving only one usable stall for all guests. We did get a response from Ron Ramirez that seems to be from a 12 year old. We dont belive anything was done, and would appreciate if the city of Yuma hires better knowledgeable people.

We got a new skate park end of December last year just after Christmas, the park had a decent crew cleaning it...I mean they would walk the park pick up all the trash, take a leaf blower and get all the dirt an dust off the course...now it's a new crew an they only pick up the big stuff that "they" think is worth picking up, hasnt been hit with a dust blower on who knows how long, cigarette butts all over the corners of the artificial grass, they had bleachers but the city thought the even at the civil center was more important than some kids parents sitting at the park watching the kids have fun...I guess there was supposed to be some picnic tables coming but still nothing as of yet...idk why you would invest so much money and not maintain the park...I've seen about 5 guys that cover the Kennedy park area, could be more could be less...but it's a horrible feeling telling some parent or kid to move off of an obstacle.

parks are closed and/or rundown. Little to No youth events during the daytime in the summer. Pools close at 6 just in time for parents to get off work and not be able to take the family. Taxation without representation.

Great facility for our #WestMEC leadership training and the staff was extremely nice.
